Starting at 2:00 p.m. PST today, members of the Xbox One Preview Alpha Ring will begin receiving the latest 1910 Xbox One system update (Build: 19H1_RELEASE_XBOX_DEV_1910\18363.7152.190908-1922).

FIXES:

System

Fixed an issue where the console was shutting down unexpectedly while playing games and using media apps such as Netflix.

Note: If for some reason you experience this behavior after today’s update, make sure to submit a report from the console as soon as it has rebooted.

Various updates to properly reflect local languages on the console.

KNOWN ISSUES:

Mixer

Users attempting to watch streams on the Mixer tab will launch the Mixer app when a stream is selected.

Note: This is expected behavior, as we’re currently investigating an issue with the Mixer Viewing improvements.

Audio

Users who have Dolby Atmos enabled and console display settings set to 120hz with 36 bits per pixel (12-bit) are experiencing loss of Dolby Atmos audio in some situations.

Workaround: Disable 120hz or set Video Fidelity to 30 bits per pixel (10-bit) or lower.

Dolby Access

Users are unable to complete the setup for Dolby Atmos in the app and the app is not recognizing Dolby Atmos headphones.

Note: This is an issue with the Dolby Access app and the app developers are aware and investigating.

Guide

Users are reporting that their Friends list is not updating with correct status.

Gamertag

Customers attempting to change their GT using the new Gamertag features on the console will not yet see those changes reflected on the console.

My Games & Apps

Some users have reported that they are missing some titles from their Ready to Install section.

Note: We have added additional logging to help investigate this behavior. If you encounter this on the latest update, please submit feedback and be sure to include the names of the titles that are missing in the description.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Fixed an issue where alerts/notifications were not loading when accessed in the Guide.

System

Various updates to properly reflect local languages across the console.

Known Issues:

Audio

Users who have Dolby Atmos enabled and console display settings set to 120hz with 36 bits per pixel (12-bit) are experiencing loss of Dolby Atmos audio in some situations.

Workaround: Disable 120hz or set Video Fidelity to 30 bits per pixel (10-bit) or lower.

Some users using default audio settings with an audio setup that supports a maximum of 2 channels and Dolby Digital and NO headset connected will experience audio distortion when they start their console.

Workaround: Navigate to Settings>Display & sound>Audio output and set the HDMI audio to Stereo Uncompressed.

Controllers

Some users have reported that they are unable to power on their console via a controller.

Note: If you encounter this behavior, please make sure to include the firmware version of the controller in your feedback description. This can be accessed by navigating to Settings>Devices & streaming>Accessories using the controller experiencing the behavior and select the ellipsis from the Controller menu.

Gamertag

Xbox One Preview Alpha Skip Ahead 1910 Update 190512-1922 - May 14

Starting at 2:00 p.m. PST today, members of the Xbox One Preview Alpha Skip Ahead Ring will begin receiving the latest 1910 Xbox One system update (19H1_RELEASE_XBOX_DEV_19H2HOLD_1910\18362.7109.190512-1922). This build has the same features and fixes as 1905 however we need valuable core recovery coverage and feedback as we skip ahead.

Fixes:

Audio:

Fixes addressing the audio streams when Atmos is used for Stereo Speakers and Mono-mix mode.

We have fixed the issue that some users are encountering no audio on their Xbox console after boot (no shell audio, no game audio, no app audio).

Resolved an issue in which Windows Sonic (spatial audio for headphones) spatial and non-spatial audio played out of sync. This affected games that create sophisticated compound sound effects that combine spatial and non-spatial audio.

We have fixed the issue in which your ATMOS setting switched back to DD 7.1 after taking an update.

Some users may have been impacted recently by their Dolby Atmos for Home Theater audio setting reverting to another audio setting. We have made a fix recently and are looking to our Insider Audience to verify it.

Home

Fixes to the Controller Icon on home – “Unknown” battery should will not be shown as “plugged in” icon

Additional fixes to a memory leak to address overall system performance.

Fixes to UI and workflow when Signing in and out for some users.

UI fixes to the Game Pass Quests in the Game pass twist.

Fixes to address Legacy 360 gamerpics in the Settings app showing up too small.

My Games and Apps

We have fixed the issue when launching some games was causing the “Launch error 0x800706ba” and the game would not launch.

We have fixed the issue with video corruption showing in apps such as Youtube and Netflix with 4k playback.

System

Fixes to complete Kinect setup when it crashed at audio setup.

Additional fixes to a memory leak to address overall system performance.

Fixes to narrator bugs on the Updates Page and Xbox Privacy page.

UI fixes to light and dark themes to make text easier to read.

Localization fixes.

Headsets are not being assigned to the users profiles and not working correctly.
