Windows 10: Xbox One Preview Beta & Delta 1810 System Update 180907-1908 Sept. 11

Starting at 2:00 p.m. PDT today, members of the Xbox One Preview Beta and Delta (subset) Rings will begin receiving the latest 1810 Xbox One system update (180907-1908). Read on for more about the fixes and known issues in the latest 1810 system update.

NOTE : Today a subset of Delta Users are receiving the 1810 build. We are doing the subset of users as we are targeting the upgrade process and will move the remaining set of Delta users in over the next week as we flight new builds to test the upgrade process.

Fixes:

Clubs

Official Club pages that allow users to switch games within the Club Twist will appear with game titles that blend into the background.

Groups

Fixes to resolve an error that was being displayed when a user launched an app that was being installed.

Guide

Fixes to resolve the Alerts tab in Guide when a user would select “see all alerts” and receive an error.

My Games & Apps

The EA Access and the Shudder App being unresponsive is now fixed when navigating in the apps.

UI fixes to the Memberships tabs to fix alignment issues.

We have fixed the following Media apps from crashing. The apps are Demand 5, Orange, CTV Go on XBox One, SEGO, TMN GO, Foxtel Play, Halo Channel, TSN on Xbox One.

Users should no longer have a game/app crash if you start a new game then launch the YouTube app. Users are now also able to launch the Youtube app then launch a New game as it did crash.

We fixed the issues\ when you are in the Youtube app and then Resume to a Game the app/game would have resulted in the console hanging or crash.

Notifications

Fixes to Notifications to correctly show when a user plugs in/or out an external HDD or USB drive.

Fixed an issue with incorrect notifications stating that you need to clear more free space when installing some games and your console has sufficient space to install the game.

OneGuide

Users should no encounter stuttering when launching straight into Oneguide after the console is turned on from Instant on.

System

Fixes to the stability of the console going in and out of the Instant On power mode.

Localization fixes in this build.

Known Issues:

Audio

We are aware that some users are experiencing issues where mics do not work. Please ensure that your controller is running the latest Firmware (Settings – Kinect & Devices – Devices & Accessories) and be sure to file feedback using the “Report a problem” tool when you experience this issue.

Avatars

We are aware that, in some instances, Avatar limbs (feet & hands) are pointing in unexpected directions and facial hair is appearing where it should not. Please file feedback should you experience this.

It can take up to 10 seconds to view an Avatar on the profile screen after creating a new Avatar.

Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge crashes for some users at random times.

The cursor may disappear when exiting and re-entering the app. Workaround: Press Y when re-entering the app to make the cursor re-appear

My Games & Apps

We are aware that some users are experiencing crashing of a game or the Youtube app when you are either launching or resuming the Youtube app.

If you are in the Youtube app and then Resume to a Game the app/game and console may hang or crash.

Power

We are tracking an issue in which the console is fully powering off when it is placed into Instant On mode.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter the incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Settings – Network Statistics

We are aware that the Detailed Network Statistics feature is not showing any data. This does not impact the consoles networking performance at all it is a UI bug.

Virtual Keyboard

We are aware that special characters appear incorrectly when using the Virtual Keyboard.

We are aware that the recently used emoji’s/characters are not present when you launch the VK again.

Xbox One Preview Beta & Delta System Update 1806.180621-1929 - June 24

Starting at 2:00 p.m. PDT today, members of the Xbox One Preview Beta and a subset of the Delta Ring will begin receiving the latest Xbox One system update (1806.180621-1929). We are adding more Delta users with this release as we are targeting the upgrade process and will move the remaining set of Delta users in over the next 24 hours. Read on for more about the fixes and known issues in the latest 1806 system update.

Fixes:

Groups

Fixed a UI bug with groups that resulted in the inbox apps showing a generic pin icon rather than the Application artwork.

My Games and Apps

Fixed an issue with various Games failing due launch or update correctly after a title update and users found that they had to reinstall the title.

Home – Alerts

Fixed an issue in which the clear all button/shortcut on the Alerts page was doing nothing for some users.

Home – Content

Fixed an issue in which the User was unable to navigate the add suggestions content on Home.

Localization

Various localization fixes across the console.

Networking – Wi-Fi

Fixed the network Wi-Fi drivers so that when a user resumes the console from Instant on they no longer experience the following Wi-Fi network issues:

Your Wi-Fi SSID is missing and/or

Your console having no Wi-Fi on resume and /or

Your console was unable to obtain an IP address from your Wi-Fi network.

System Performance

Misc. performance fixes in the platform.

Known Issues:

Groups

You may see issues with Groups if you frequently switch between your non-Preview console and your Preview console. Workaround: Reset your Groups locally on the Preview console through “My games & apps” > Groups, then using the “Reset groups” button at the bottom of the page to resync from the service.

Fixes:

Audio

The Hulu team is releasing a new app to address the app volume is lower than expected.

System

Fixes to address general system stability and reliability.

Known Issues:

Audio

Some users may experience intermittent loss of Audio with certain configurations of AV receivers with ATMOS or with changing audio configurations during console use.

Microsoft Edge

Sometimes users may encounter crashes in Microsoft Edge when using or viewing multiple tabs or videos.

Workaround : Perform a full reboot of the console.

Pi-hole

Pi-hole users may encounter issues signing in, creating, or recovering accounts upon downloading the 1804 update. This is due to a new configuration file which is downloaded from a URL Pi-hole blocks by default.

Workaround: Add clientconfig.passport.net to the Pi-hole allowed IP address list.

Starting at 6:00 p.m. PDT today, members of the Xbox One Preview Beta, Delta and Omega Rings will begin receiving the latest Xbox One system update (1806.180626-1359). Read on for more about the fixes and known issues in the latest 1806 system update.

Fixes:

FastStart

The installation progress UI now accurately reflects the actual install progress of the FastStart title.

Notifications

Users will see the new follower toasts, but will not be able to see them in action center per design.

Known Issues:

Groups

You may see issues with Groups if you frequently switch between your non-Preview console and your Preview console. Workaround: Reset your Groups locally on the Preview console through “My games & apps” > Groups, then using the “Delete all groups” button at the bottom of the page to resync from the service.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter an incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Networking

When the console wakes from Instant on/connected standby with a wired connection, the console may not recognize that the Ethernet cable is plugged in. Workaround: Please reboot the console via Guide -> reboot.
