Starting at 6:00 p.m. PDT today, members of the Xbox One Preview Beta Ring will begin receiving the latest Xbox One system update (1806.180802-1822). Read on for more about the fixes and known issues in the latest 1806 system update.

New Features:

Avatar Editor

Xbox Insiders in the Beta ring can now access the new Xbox Avatar Editor app through Insider Hub. Go check it out, and be sure to leave feedback via the Quest!

Additional enhancements to the fixes for Users that experienced issues with launching titles that had been crashing on the console.

Sometimes users may encounter an incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Xbox One Preview Beta System Update 1806.180608-1245 - June 12

Starting at 2:00 p.m. PDT today, members of the Xbox One Preview Beta Ring will begin receiving the latest Xbox One system update (1806.180608-1245). Read on for more about the fixes and known issues in the latest 1806 system update.

New Features:

Mixer Shared Controller

Leaderboards are functional now when share controller is started from any 1806 console e.g. Mixer | Interactive Livestreaming

Fixes:

Clubs

Fixed an issue sorting Clubs when viewing a list of Clubs.

Home

Fixed an issue where content on the dashboard tabs (Store, Mixer, Ads etc.) was not loading correctly.

Fixed an issue where users Gamertag and Gamerscore were not aligned correctly on the dashboard.

Games/Apps

Fixed an issue in which saved data syncs were failing for some users for various games and apps..

Groups

Fixed an issue where some users were unable to delete pins from Groups.

Fixed an issue where items being added to groups are not appearing everywhere on the dashboard correctly.

Fixed the issue with the Rewards app that resulted in no access to Groups

Localization

Various localization fixes across the console.

Messages

Users should no longer encounter issues attempting to view, send, or receive messages.

My Games & Apps

Fixed an issue where the Updates section would not load for some users.

Mixer

Fixed an issue where using a USB camera would result in a green screen while broadcasting.

Narrator

Narrator text updated when a game is installing.

Wi-Fi

Improvements to the stability to Wi-Fi after coming out of Instant on.

System Performance

Misc. performance fixes in the platform.

Known Issues:

Friends

Some users may notice that the online status of Friends is not updating correctly.

Groups

Enabling Groups after taking the update: Groups may not appear for you on first sign in unless you do a full console reboot after taking the system update. This is being fixed in an upcoming build and should only affect having just taken this system update.

The Groups tab in My games & apps may not show after sign in even though you can access Groups in Guide, or you may see “This group does not exist” on Home on first sign-in for your existing Groups. Workaround: Sign in / out to refresh these pages.

Some changes might not be reflected when editing Groups between multiple consoles after coming out of connected standby. Sign in/out to fix.

Using special characters in Group names (e.g. &,”) causes issues during Group creation or using the “Add more” flow. Note: emojis are fine. This is being fixed in an upcoming build.

You may see issues with Groups if you frequently switch between your non-Preview console and your Preview console. Workaround: Reset your Groups locally on the Preview console through “My games & apps” > Groups, then using the “Reset groups” button at the bottom of the page to resync from the service.

Profile Color

Sometimes users may encounter an incorrect Profile color when powering on the console.

Netflix Atmos Audio/Video Sync issues:

Netflix is aware that following Atmos titles occur a 5 second audio lip-sync delay.

Work continues on the stability of the Wi-Fi connectivity. If you see any issues please report the problem for investigation by performing a Full system software via the dashboard as opposed to just pressing the Xbox Power button.

Some users are encountering an issue where their YouTube account is being signed out whenever they launch the app. Workaround: Uninstall/re-install the app and sign in with your account again.

Starting at 2:00 p.m. PDT today, members of the Xbox One Preview Beta Ring will begin receiving the latest Xbox One system update (1806.180531-1920). Read on for more about the fixes and known issues in the latest 1806 system update.

New Features:

Additional Accessibility Options – New Narrator languages

Users can now enable the new Narrator languages: Spanish (es-MX, es-AR, es-CO, es-CL), English (en-AU), Portuguese (pt-BR), Polish (pl), Swedish (sv-SE), and Dutch (nl-NL, nl-NB).

Fixes:

My Games & Apps

Fixed an issue where users were seeing multiple Games & Apps categories appearing in their category lists.

Groups

Fixed an issue where users would have issues navigating Groups within the Guide.

Localization

Various localization issues fixed in this build.

Search

Pressing Y button anywhere in the dashboard now will bring up search as designed.

Settings

Fixed an issue in which the console would turn back on after a full shutdown.

System Performance

Xbox One Preview Beta & Delta System Update 1806.180612-1920 - June 17

Starting at 2:00 p.m. PDT today, members of the Xbox One Preview Beta and a subset of the Delta Ring will begin receiving the latest Xbox One system update (1806.180612-1920). We are adding more Delta users with this release as we are targeting the upgrade process and will move the remaining set of Delta users in over the next few weeks as we flight new builds to test the upgrade process. Fixes:

My Games and Apps

Fixed an issue for Games that are being updated that use the Fast Start feature. Users will no longer have the game uninstalled if they cancel a game update.

Fixed an issue with the installation and launching of the CW app. The app now launches correctly.

Localization

Various localization fixes across the console.

Party Chat

Performance improvements to the stability and reliability of Party Chat.

System Performance

Misc. performance fixes in the platform.

YouTube

The issue with some users are encountering an issue where their YouTube account is being signed out whenever they launch the app is resolved.

Known Issues:

Workaround: Please perform the following steps to fix the issue

Open My Games & Apps

Navigate to Groups tab

Scroll to the bottom of the page

Select Delete all groups

Select Delete local groups
