    Xbox One/Series controller cant reconnect after being off


    I connect both my xbox one and series version controller via bluetoooth with my laptop without adapter. After my controller disconnected manually or automatically from idle, I had to restart my laptop before being able to reconnect and use my controller again. Eventhough the status in the bluetooth devices stated that the controller is connected. Is there any way to reconnect and use it back without having to restart my laptop everytime? I saw there was a question regarding this created April 21 2017, sadly there's still real solution on 2023. Thank you.

    Yes. I also followed the steps provided my Microsoft

    Redirecting

    • windows 10 KB number for OS Build is greater than the one listed
    • the controller firmware is up to date from the Xbox Accessories app.
