Windows 10: Xbox party chat not working on my pc, but works on phone and other pc's.

For a few months now I haven't been able to start or connect to xbox party chats on pc.


I only use the microsoft xbox app and game bar for Sea of Thieves and its the same issue in game, nobody can hear me and I can't hear them using the in game VOIP.



Despite the insane amount of things I've tried to fix it including the following:


- Any command I'm sure you've already googled netsh int teredo.....


- Registry checks to make sure Disabled Components is set to 0


- Updating windows and everything in the microsoft store



- Contacting windows support 5 times, xbox support and even my ISP support


- Going to device manager to disable or reinstall Teredo tunneling adapter but it never showed up in the list anyway even using Add Legacy hardware


- Forwarding all the correct ports double checked that they ARE forwarded and not filtered


- NAT is open, going to xbox network connectivity in windows settings shows everything connected, open, and working fine.


- Teredo is qualified


- I've gone into app settings for all xbox apps and reset, repair and terminated them not in that order


- Restarted my computer countless times after adjusting something as well as restarting my router.


- Tried logging out of microsoft and using my phone to join a party then switch over to PC.


- Buying xbox gold and xbox game pass.


- I even downloaded Teredo Tunneling adapter from a microsoft partner website and it wouldn't install because it wasn't supported.




All of this and I'm sure I missed a few other things, to no avail.


From what I've tried it's my computer, other devices on the network can connect to parties on pc and my account worked on my brothers computer and he lives elsewhere.


I've read many people saying they've fresh installed windows and it still doesnt work and the only solution is to download a program and get to a specific version of windows 1804 I believe just to get parties to work again.


In my own settings it shows Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface as a network adapter but it says "Status: Not Operational"


I'm 100% out of ideas other than wait for it to get fixed with an update....

For us to better isolate this issue, kindly provide us the following information below:

• Can you tell us if you're using a child account?
• May I know if you were able to join party chat on another computer while using the same account?
• Can you tell us the troubleshooting steps that you have tried so far?

In the meantime, I recommend that you try using another Xbox account in the Xbox app and check if you will be able to join party chat. This will help us to determine if the issue is within the app or on the account that you're using.

Try resetting Xbox Game Bar, Xbox Console Companion and Xbox Live in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Xbox feature > Advanced Options. Restart PC and try again.

If it still fails try re-registering the app from Option 2 here:

If those fail then try uninstalling the apps in Settings location above, restart PC then reinstall from MS Store Settings > My Library.

If nothing else works then do a Repair Install, by installing Media Creation Tool, open tool and choose to Upgrade Now. This reinstalls Windows while keeping files, programs and most settings in place, and is also the most stable method to advance to the latest
version.

xbox companion app and xbox game bar party chat not working

I have been using the xbox companion app on pc to play modern warfare with friends who play on xbox (love the crossplay). However recently whenever i try to join a party or invite people to a party we can't connect. My NAT is open and network is good.
It literally just stopped working. I have messed with firewalls and every other tip i can find online but nothing is working.

the xbox game bar has the same issue as well

Also my xbox works just fine and i have no issues getting into a party. This just seems to be a pc issue.

Any help would be great, thank you.
