    [XBOX PC] Screen hanging unless volume popup is displayed


    I’ve been searching for quite some time, but can’t find a solution for my problem.

    Some XBOX Game Pass For PC titles are freezing (video only) for me in fullscreen, unless the volume popup is showing.

    So, when I adjust the volume it’s fine, but as soon as de volume popup fades out, my game (video) freezes.

    Does anyone recognize this problem and/or has a fix for it?

    How to remove volume display on screen in Windows 10?

    Hi,

    The volume display on the screen lets you adjust the volume easily and check the actual volume level. If you wouldn't want to see it on the screen or on the task bar, you can hide it by performing these steps:

    • Right-click on the task bar.
    • Select Settings.
    • Under Notification area, click Turn system icons on or off.
    • Turn off volume.

    Initially, we need to pair the device to show up in the list while connected through Bluetooth. Check with the below mentioned steps and see if it works.

    It is important that you have the correct screen display and resolution. We suggest that you perform the following steps to reset the monitor settings:

    • Boot your computer in
      safe mode      .
    • Once in safe mode, right-click the desktop > Screen Resolution.
    • Change the display settings back to the original configuration.
    • Restart your computer.
