Windows 10: Xbox Wireless Controller Won't Unpair for ANY REASON!

So I've got an Xbox One Bluetooth computer I use on my Windows 10 PC. My Bluetooth radio asked me to install an update, and since then, my controller won't connect. I figured I just had to remove it from my Bluetooth devices and connect it again, but it won't do that, either. It tries to remove it, gives up, and sticks its bottom lip out at me for trying.

I've tried LITERALLY everything. I've tried removing it from the Control Panel, I've tried removing it from the Registry, I've tried removing it from the Device Manager, absolutely nothing has worked. It's still in Device Manager, with no info on it. I can't even get its MAC address to forcefully remove it.

Google recommends I use this program called "Bluetooth Command Line Tools" and run the btpair -u command. They keep saying it's a miracle cure for Bluetooth issues, but it doesn't work. It even screwed up my audio driver when it paired to a Bluetooth speaker that doesn't exist.

Now what? Do a clean boot? Fix something in System Restore? Roll back the old driver?

TLDR: My Xbox Bluetooth controller is on the fritz, and won't reconnect. What do I do?

Xbox Controller is not connecting to Wireless Adapter

• Are you using an Xbox one controller?
  

If you are using an Xbox one controller, I suggest you to refer the steps in the article

I would also suggest you to uninstall all the hidden devices under USB hive and check if you are able to connect the wireless adapter. Please follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall the hidden drivers:

1. Press and hold the Windows + X key on the keyboard.
   
2. Select Device manager.
   
3. Click View tab.
   
4. Select Show hidden devices.
   
5. Expand Universal Serial Bus and remove all the greyed out devices. To remove the greyed out devices, right click on the device and select
   uninstall.
   
6. Restart your computer.

Wireless Xbox One controller requires PIN for Windows 10.

You will be asked for a PIN when connecting your wireless Xbox One controller via Bluetooth on Windows 10 if your Bluetooth drivers are not updated. It is also possible that you have to reset the controller to remove the PIN. To resolve your concern, restart
your controller by following the steps below:

• Power off the controller by pressing and holding the Xbox button on the controller for 6 seconds.
• Press the Xbox button again to power it back on.
• Connect your Xbox Wireless Controller to your PC using a USB cable or the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows.
