Windows 10: Xbox Wireless Headset detected as Speakers in Windows 11 when connected via Bluetooth, but...

After an update, I noticed a change in audio quality while playing Call of Duty Warzone 2. After that, I looked at Windows settings, which showed Xbox wireless headset as a Speaker. To compensate for the loss of quality I have to play with the headset connected to the USB. Is there a way to change that? I already tried updating the firmware, but no luck with that. And I think I have the latest Bluetooth driver installed.

I have Xbox Wireless Headset which is paired with both xbox and windows 11 but win 11 keeps detecting it as speakers , which makes the sound quality very poor, and volume very low. I saw many similar cases online, but no solution I found really helps me.

i tried:

removing/ re-adding device

updating every single driver in my pc

Hey guys, I need help with the Xbox Wireless Headset. When I connect it to PC via USB, Windows 11 recognizes it as "headphones", but when I try to connect it via Bluetooth it is detected as "speakers" (and the audio quality is much worse). Why is that? What can I do to fix this?
