Adobe XD crashed upon launch

I understand that Adobe XD crashes when launching. I’ll certainly assist you with the issue.



However, please let us know:

• Are you aware of any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? Refer
  Which version of Windows operating system am I running?
  

I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the Adobe article

Adobe XD does not launch and only shows a white screen on Windows 10 and see if that helps.



Note: Important this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow
these steps carefully. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

xD card reader

Hi Mike,

I tried your suggestion and restarted my computer. The xD card reader is now back in my Devices. I appreciate your help!

Thank you for sharing your concern in Microsoft Community.

The issue you are facing might be due to memory card not getting detected or any third party software conflict.

Before we provide any assistance, provide us the below information.

1. Have you tried to access the XD card through card reader ?

2. What happens when you connect your XD card through the card reader ?

3. What is the make and model of your PC ?


Lets follow the below steps and see if this fixes the issue.

Plug in the card to the PC and run the below troubleshooter.

Run the Hardware troubleshooter and check.

Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

a. Press Windows key + W to search Settings.

b. Type “Troubleshoot” without quotes and click on Troubleshooting in the results displayed on the left side of the screen.

c. In the new window, click Hardware and Sound.

d. In the list of options, click on Hardware and Devices.

e. Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.

Also, Install any pending Windows updates on the pc to check if that helps. Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience
