    xeon e5 2689 running slow


    helloI just bought a intel xeon e5 2689 and when i installed windows 10 pro, the computer starts very good but then the usage goes to 80- 100%, and if i open the administrator it says sistem interruption at 50 100%.i use a m.2 western digital green nvme 480g

    About to buy Xeon ES CPU, Which stepping would be safest

    Im gonna have a duel xeon cpu setup, was looking to get couple of E5 ES models since the retails are so expensive, PC will be used for work, obviously
    Just need to know what stepping are safe to deal with

    Any ideas, suggestions let me know !

    Xeon E5-4620 Vs Xeon X5675 Vs 2670? for Crunch.

    I wouldn't go with a E5-4xxx CPU unless you plan on running four of them. These CPUs have enough QPI links to do 4 socket systems. I would suggest a E5-2xxx series CPU, for less cost you'll get better performance but will still retain dual CPU capability, or maybe even a E5-1xxx CPU if you're not planning on going DP or QP.

    The E5-2670 would be a far better choice and shouldn't cost more.

    The QB7U should be a "C1" Stepping (QS) ? E5-2665 2.4GHz Idle and 2.8GHz Turbo?
