Windows 10: Xerox printer 6140 and Win 10 update

I seem to be having difficulty in doing a win 10 update, where it provides me that it can not do the update and give me an error code of Xerox - Printers - Xerox Phaser 6140N XPS - Error 0x800f0247


What do I need to do ?

Hi Richard here is my response to your questions:

1) May we know how do you install your printers?

printer is installed by using the CD from the printer manufacturer and then I look for an updated driver.

2) How many printers are you installing?

only which is directly connected to this computer Xerox phaser 6140 and then I use another HP 8610 printer which I connect to through a local network.

I just installed a new win 10 update and now get a message that there was a problem with installing some updates : Printers - Xerox Phaser 6140N XPS - Error 0x800f0247

 

Fuji Xerox M225DW printer not showing in Printers & Devices

I installed my new printer successfully and works OK but does not appear in the 'Devices & Printers" panel. I tried to look for it but Win 10 can't seem to find it.

The only way I have to Access the printer is through the "Print" Dialogue of a selected program (like Word etc.) Xerox suggest it's a glitch in Win 10! Can anyone come up with a suggestion/workaround?
