    i would like to know how i'm supposed to set xHCI hand-off in BIOS UEFI when using Windows 10. I read somewhere that in Windows 7, it should be enabled, but what for Windows 10?

    Why is this question still not answered? XHCI Mode and XHCI Hand off are two different options. It would be nice to know what the correct setting for Windows 10 is.

    Hi,

    If your Motherboard has an xHCI setting in BIOS and you want the USB Ports to function as USB 3.0 in Windows 10, set your xHCI hand off to
    enabled.

    You may need a driver from the manufacturer. This is turning over control of the port from BIOS to OS.
