    Hello,

    I recently encountered the issue of my microphone Rode NT-1 not working with the new Windows 10 update. I know that it's not an issue with the microphone itself because I can playback the audio on my mixer Rode AI-1. I reverted windows update a few days back and then my microphone started working again. I then got a notification that the version I was on is no longer supported and to update windows so I did thinking my microphone would stay working, it didn't I cannot revert windows update anymore because it will not give me the option to. From then I've tried everything from checking windows drivers to my mixer drivers, security settings, factory resetting wiping everything completely, reinstalling windows, checking device settings, and overall everything I could find on the internet. I've emailed the RODE support team about this issue but I haven't gotten an email back in over two days so I am taking to the Microsoft forums for help. If anyone could help me that would be great.

    File Opening xlr files

    Transferred old xlr docs from Vista Home Premium to new Windows 10 platform.

    Cannot open these docs and no apps in the default settings appear to work.

    Got Office -- no help.

    (Reviews on the apps available to buy suggest they are useless.)

    Is there a simple way to open these old xlr docs?
