Windows 10: xp pen artist 22 2nd gen disabling nvidia gpu windows 11

windows 11acer conceptd 3 ezel this laptop has integrated gpu and second nvidia gpuxp pen artist 22 2nd genall drivers updatedi have tried every troubleshooting step on the internet about this and so far it looks like i need firmware for xp pen monitor or windows update that doesn't cause this.previous generation of this monitor said to uninstall kb5006363problem is everything works great until randomly my extended display xp pen shuts down and my laptop says graphics card nvidia is disabled in device manager until i fully shut down and reboot. then it all works fine until random failu

Windows 11 and XP-PEN Artist 22 Pro incompatibility (solved!)

Okay. Finally, I have a fix for this. There is a temporary fix I figured out, but also a permanent fix. The problem is caused by the Esc key and old firmware.

1. Temporary fix. Use Microsoft PowerToys Keyboard Manager to disable the Esc key. This is what is actually causing the problem.
   
2. Permanent fix. Request a Firmware update from XP-Pen for the Artist 22 Pro. To run the firmware update, I would suggest disabling Esc key, then running update, then re-enabling Esc key.

Windows 11 and XP-PEN Artist 22 Pro incompatibility (solved!)

New update:

I have hidden update KB 5007292 , but graphic tablet is still unusable. I cannot use the mouse, I cannot turn off the computer, I cannot use the pen . I can only turn off the computer if I unplug the tablet . Therefore, incompatibility between Windows 11 and XP-PEN Artist 22 Pro remains . Problem is unresolved .

If any XP - PEN user finds a solution please share. Microsoft and/or XP-PEN must provide with a solution.

 

Windows 11 and XP-PEN Artist 22 Pro incompatibility (solved!)

Dear users ,

SOLUTION below:

1) I updated Windows 11 to include all updates until January 12th 2022.

2) XPpen service sent me their latest firmware for Artist 22 Pro. After applying firmware update , I rebooted.

3) I installed the recent XP-Pen driver for Artist 22 Pro (version Oct-2021 that supports Win11). I rebooted again.

4) At first stylus didn't work , so I rebooted again. It finally worked .

I don't know if the above solution will work for all, but it seems that updating firmware for this device is crucial . Maybe windows 11 updates resolved some issues too.
