    XPS 8700 Windows 10 restarting without asking


    Hi! I got this XPS 8700 7 years ago with windows 10 installed and recently it’s been acting horribily. Now out of no where, my computer will shut down and sometimes turn on by itself. I’m looking online and there’s two possible solutions, check and update the drivers, or trying to clean out the CPU and everyone thing else to make sure it’s clean. Before I try doing any of that I wanted to see if there’s any way to fix this issue inside of windows. If no one is able to gove a clear solution then I will do two of the options. Please send help. I use this computer frequently and I need it to do work. Bye!

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Can the Dell XPS 8700 be upgraded to Windows 10?

    A friend with a Dell XPS 8700 i5 that was running Windows 7 had the OS crash. Recovery media is no longer available and a Microsoft Windows 7 disk isn't a solution because it requires inputting a license key; apparently Dell PCs have the license key embedded in the bios. The question is will the XPS 8700 support an upgrade to Windows 10 if we get a retail copy? TIA for any help.
