Windows 10: Yahoo mailbox after clean install

My PC is having compatibility issue with software that uses a crypkey authorisation so have decided I might revert to win7 Can I recover my yahoo e-mails as the links for some programmes I use are in there for downloading after clean installation I assume my yahoo login will still be valid - but will mailbox be lost and start from new installation date ?

I had the same problem and got these instructions from Nokia and now have no more problem.



In response to your concern, we would like to suggest you to remove the Yahoo mailbox on your device by following the steps below:

1. Go to "Menu".

2. Go to "Installations".

3. Select "Email".

4. Choose "Settings".

5. Highlight the mailbox you want to remove.

6. Select "Options".

7. Choose "Remove mailbox".

8. Then select "Yes" to confirm deletion.

In line with this, after removing the Yahoo mailbox on your device, kindly sign in your account in Yahoo mail using your PC and delete one “Inbox” message on your Yahoo e-mail account. Then kindly setup again your Yahoo mailbox on your Nokia E71 device. To
access and create mailbox, please refer to the following below:

1. Go to “Menu”.

2. Select "Communication"

3. Select “Messaging”.

4. Select “Options”.

5. Select “Settings”.

6. Select “E-mail”.

7. Select “Mailboxes”.

8. Select “Options”.

9. Select "New Mailbox". (Yahoo)

 

NO ! Your Yahoo mail is online. Open a browser and sign in. Any mail client you had only synced the messages when online.
