Windows 10: Yahoo

I was asked to do a Adobe Player update when visiting our local newspaper website. This failed part way through, saying that the procedure had been interrupted.

I now have a permanent search box at the top of the screen. I have also had to reset passwords for some websites, and the search page is very different.

A Google search says that this may be a corrupted version of Yahoo. There is no Yahoo programme in the main programme list.

I have tried various ways to get rid of the search box, and Yahoo, and return to "normal", but without success.

Any suggestions please.

Regarding the issue that you had with making email replies on your Yahoo, have you tried performing a uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

We suggest that you follow these steps:

• Uninstall the Yahoo Mail app.
• Perform a soft reset by Pressing the Power and Volume down button simultaneously for 15 seconds.
• Once the phone vibrates, release your hold and wait for the phone to finish rebooting.
• Reinstall Yahoo Mail from the store.

Let us know if the issue persists after following the steps above.
