    Yoga 6 BSOD Boot Device missing??


    Just yesterday when I was using the laptop as normal i ran into a BSOD. A screen popped up saying system ran into an error, was collecting data, and restart. There was a QR code but it flashed off too fast for me to scan.When I got the laptop back on I did what was initially recommended, updating the system and windows and it seemed fine, but I shut the laptop down to let it rest.Turning it on today brought me to another BSOD within 20 minutes of using, which progressed until I cant even start the device to get to the main desktop.Now I receive a screen that says missing boot drive, and when a

    Windows BSOD - Inaccessible Boot Device

    Ever since December after a windows update, any time I re-boot I get a BSOD - Inaccessible Boot Device, and have to go back to a restore point. Currently my update log shows KB4054517 failed (0x80070643 on 12/12/17, Cum update on 1/5/18 filed then succeeded,
    and all future updates through Cum update KB4056887 on Jan 19th succeeded. Windows runs fine with no errors, but having had to go back to a restore point 6 times in the past 6 weeks, if I reboot I will get the same BSOD and have to restore again. Any suggestions
    on how to fix the inaccessible boot device error I keep getting??

    ughhh! BSOD on boot

    I guess my computer BSOD on boot right before getting to windows. not sure what the problem is though, everything is stable.

    It gave me a list of two files in windows that could have caused the problems

    BSOD - Inaccessible Boot Device

    The reset save files equivalent if successful should be the quickest method to get you backup and running.

    The backup files then clean install is the best option as you fix many problems and start fresh.

    The command prompt commands are all trial and error.
