Windows 10: Yoga 720-12IKB Laptop touch-screen not working?

As the title says, my touch-screen isn't working. I've updated all of my drivers, disabled and enabled & reinstalled my HID touchscreen driver, fiddled around with all my settings, tried to calibrate my screen as well the screen did not detect my touch input, and my windows is updated to the latest update21H2, I've basically exhausted all other solutions, what do I do?

Touch screen not working on Yoga 720 Laptop after the latest update

Hi,

I'm using Lenovo Yoga 720 2-in-1 laptop with a touch screen. I have done regular windows update today and since then, the touch screen isn't working.

I have done some research online and none of them pertaining to updating display drivers had worked. Though one trick worked which is opening 'Calibrate pen & touch input' and keep touching the screen until it starts working.

While this is all ridiculous and silly, the downside is once the laptop goes to sleep or I restart, I have to redo this calibrate thing to start using touch screen on my laptop. I hope you will resolve this quickly and I can go back to normality. Using Windows
10 Home version 1909.

lenovo yoga 720 touch screen drivers stopped working

hi

i rescently bought a lenovo yoga 720 13" laptop, initially the touch screen was working fine but after 2 days it stopped working. i did a factry restore after which it worked but then again it stopped working. this happened for two three factory restores
but then it also stoped. i tried various drivers and installing and uninstalling them but its not helping. windows service manager shows some error in the logs related to the wacom aes digitizer but i am not sure what it is

 

Touchpad cursor disappears and is unresponsive. (Lenovo Yoga 720, Windows 10)

SOLUTION: for the Yoga 720 12ikb

Problem: after sleep, windows pointer from touchpad dissapears and will not reappear

in your apps should be "Lenovo Vantage" start it;

--System Update: click on "Download and Install Lenovo Updates for Your Device"

-- Check for updates

1st recommended update was the driver: Elan Touchpad IAP for Yoga 720 Win10[64] v1.0.0.3

installed, rebooted

Problem not solved, so started Lenovo Vantage again, .... this time a Bios Update was suggested.

--Install, reboot

Problem solved.,or at this early stage it appears so! ..... you mileage may vary
