gmail calendar event is deleted by calendar app

If your Google calendar can't be synced with the Windows Calendar app, then follow the below Microsoft article.

If the issue persists then, I suggest you to uninstall the apps which came inbuilt with Windows 10 using Windows PowerShell and reinstall using Windows Store. Follow the below steps.

• 
  Open the Start menu, type Windows PowerShell in
  the search bar.
  
• 
  Right click on the Windows PowerShell and select Run as administrator.
  
• 
  Enter the below command to reinstall the Mail and Calendar app.
  

get-appxpackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | remove-appxpackage


After performing the above steps, install the Mail and Calendar app form the Windows Store.

synching Windows 10 Calendar with gmail Google calendar

I use the Windows 10 Calendar on my PC, and the Google Calendar on my gmail account as well as my Android phone. I am trying to synch all 3. Hwere is what is happening so far:

• My gmail calendar and my phone sync well, both ways.
  
• events i enter on my gmail calendar show up on my PC calendar
• Events that I enter into my PC calendar do NOT show up on my gmail calendar, and therefore not on my cell phone either

On my PC calendar, I have gone into Settings-Manage Accounts, and switched my gmail calendar OFF and then back ON. From there I also deleted my gmail account, and put it back in. no change. Should I give up and just install Google Calendar on my PC?

Editing Windows app event; Missing designation of which calendar the event is from. Happens in outlook and Google Calendar links

When viewing the google or outlook calendar in the Windows 10 calendar App along with seeing your *** Email address is removed for privacy *** calendar you can see the multiple "other" calendars that you have set up in Google. You can even color code the different calendars (although randomly,
the color does not seem to show on all events for some reason).

If you are choosing to edit a google calendar event in the windows 10 app it does not report which google calendar the event is from. Like if you have a customized "Business" calendar within your gmail account. If you have and event inked to that calendar
and even see that it has the proper color coding within the app, once you choose to edit the event there is nowhere in the editing dialog box that states that the event is from the "Business" calendar and therefore there is also no way to change that calendar
designation.
