Windows 10: You cannot log on because the logon method you are using is not allowed on this computer....

This message appeared to me recently after my brother tampered with my device recently and I can't do anything as the Windows CD is not with me at the moment so what can I do?Well I tried to chew on Windows Plus R but it doesn't work as well

Thanks for replying, but this doesn't help since the only user on the computer is the administrator which is the account that cannot log in. So step 1 does not work since the Win key is not recognized.

How do I log into the computer with the only user being the one that is locked out?

This issue may happen if you're signing in to a computer using non administrator ID.
In order for us to efficiently you, we just have few questions for you:

• Were there any changes made to your computer prior to the issue?
• Is your computer connected to a domain?
• Have you checked the Group Policy if the "Allow log on locally" was setup to allow users or domain users?

Automatic logon does not work on my computer

a) I am unable to remember one of the logons which I setup as an emergency logon (in case I forget the other logon).

-> When logged on under an admin account, you can change the password for any other account. Press the Windows key and type users, then follow the prompts.

b) I am unable to long [log on?] without keying in a password.

You must follow this procedure while the user accounts panel (the one you posted) is active:

• Tick the box that requires users to enter a password.
• Click the account name under which you wish to log on automatically.
• Untick the box from Step 1.
• Click OK.
• Enter the password for the chosen account.
