Windows 10: You can't move Fortnite from external hard disk to pc?

Good evening,

I rebuilt my pc 1-2 days ago and wanted to play Fortnite (please don't hate play it because of my girlfriend )

install.

Had to drag it from my laptop to an external hard drive so I don't have to download everything to my pc.

Now I did it like I did with Lol.

Installation started then paused and copied the Fortnite folder from my external folder to the one on pc and replaced the files.

But now when I start the epic launcher it checks briefly and then simply decides to download 40gb again and deletes the Fortnite data from my SSD.

Anyone have any advice on why that is?

Had done it the same way back then when I had my laptop set up again and it worked.

• Do you hear any clicking sound when connecting your hard disk?

external hard disk recognition

external hard disk is listed in device manager but I cannot access the disk etc

3.Torrent client
4.DLNA streaming
