    There is another thread re this issue which is totally unhelpful. I am logged in as a separate user. Not related to the business. Using a Microsoft personal account. I should be able to use OneDrive Personal to back up this profile but it is still giving me this response "You can't select folders to back up in your personal OneDrive account because this is a work device" This is unacceptable. What determines that it is a work device? What do I need to disable in order to move forward? Does the original domain profile have to be deleted from the device because that seems counter productive.

    1. Login to OneDrive.com.

    OneDrive Personal Vault - accessing from Android device

    I am trying to access my OneDrive Personal Vault using my Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone.
    Whatever I try I end up with a screen telling me to create a Personal Vault, rather than opening the existing one, which was in fact the 'starting point'.

    Steps taken:
    - sign in using my Outlook account
    - select verification method (send a code to my gmail account)
    - paste that into the verification screen

    After clicking [Verify] I get this "Create a Personal Vault"-screen.

    Any suggestions?

    Doing the steps below to install the latest version of OneDrive may be able to help.

    1. Download and install the latest version of OneDrive that's rolling out with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.
    2. Restart your computer.
    3. After your computer restarts, select the Start button, search for “OneDrive”, and then select the OneDrive desktop app.
    4. When OneDrive Setup starts, enter your personal account, or your work or school account, and then select Sign in.
