Every time I plug in or unplug my earbuds the "you just unplugged a device from the audio jack" notification pops up,

    Hi Daniel,

Which browser do you use to access the websites?

I appreciate you for trying some steps in order to get the issue fixed.

    Method 1: Hardware Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio

    Refer these steps:

    1. Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

    2. Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

    3. Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

    4. Run the playing Audio troubleshooter

    Method 2.

Try updating the Audio drivers from the device manager and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to update the audio drivers:

    a. Press Windows key + X key and click
    Device Manager.

    b. Expand the Sound, Video and game controllers.

    c. Right-click on the Sound card and click on Update driver software.

    d. Restart the computer and check.

Also contact manufacturer to update to latest driver.

I suggest you to check the status of the issue on different web browsers. In case you face the issue on Internet Explorer, you may add the websites to Compatibility view settings and check if it helps.
To add the website to compatibility view follow the steps below.

        • Open Internet Explorer and go to the website.

        • Press Alt + X keys and select
          Compatibility view settings
          .

        • Click on Add and Close.

Hope it helps. Do let us know if your audio related issue is resolved. For any further query, feel free to contact us.

    Thank you.
