Yesterday spent fighting through ANOTHER windows update debacle .I have windows 11 PC which has legitimate product key active for over two years . Suddenly after another unwanted or needed windows "update" I'm left with a OS that's not activated ! ZERO hardware or software changes beyond the useless "update" .If this isn't bad enough any attempt to re activate only results in a FALSE message saying the product key is being used elsewhere .....**** !Fortunately I always make a label with the product key and attach it to every motherboard directly . I've found this quite helpful since I own seve

Impending NVMe SSD failure or not?

Hi all - I have a Sabrent NVMe to USB 3.x Adapter shown here: USB Type-C Aluminum Enclosure for M.2 NVMe SSD - Sabrent It is connected via USB 3.1 Gen 1 with a USB-C cable. Upon doing a quick spot check with the new revision of CrystalDiskInfo, I noticed this:

I then checked with Hard Disk Sentinel and it confirmed what CrystalDiskInfo displayed:

Finally, I used diskmgmt to have a peek and it deems the drive to be in a healthy state:

Why am I getting a SMART warning ID #3 - Available Spare - Contains a normalized percentage (0 to 100%) of the remaining spare capacity available. Starts from 100 and decrements? The SSD works perfectly at this time. Was always normal in terms of SMART data. Reformatting does not change the value. Ideas? TIA *Rolleyes
