Windows 10: "You'll need a new app to open this taskbar xi link

Recently Installed Taskbar XI for Windows 11 by Chris AndriessenI then deleted it, and now whenever I boot up my computer, I get a prompt stating "You'll need a new app to open this taskbar xi link"I've removed all instances of anything related to Taskbar XI in Task Scheduler under Task Scheduler Library.I've already checked my startup applications in Task ManagerIt usually shows up for a few seconds after I boot into Windows, then disappears. I've reset the Microsoft Store and no results.I also ran the troubleshooter and nothing has changed.If I've already uninstalled the application, why am

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

New Clipboard app will not open / launch

I have installed a new app from the Store.It is

ClipBoard Fast Copy Paste and Share Pro

I have not been able open / run / launch it. I have a Desktop shortcut icon, a Taskbar icon, and a Tile in the Start Menu and have repeatedly clicked each one, selecting both Open and run as Administrator without success. As I cannot oen it I have no access to whatever help info might be there or the email address of the Developer. With regard to the latter, the app listing in the Store does not have the usual info there. I have drawn a blank from an online search, the app is listed but only takes you to the relevant Store page. Any suggestions?

 

Windows Firewall blocks App Store from downloading new apps

Let's try to check if the app store you're referring to if it's really blocked by Windows Firewall. See these steps:

• Open Windows Firewall from the taskbar >
  Firewall & network protection > Allow an app through firewall.
• A new window will show up containing the list of the apps that ca be allowed through Firewall.
• Look for the app you want to be accessed, and make sure that the Domain, Private and Public are ticked. That would allow the app store to be accessed.
