Windows 10: "You'll need a new app to open this taskbarx link"

I recently got updated to Windows 11. Prior to that, I had TaskbarX by Chris Andriessen installed via Microsoft Store. Right after I received the Windows 11 update, I uninstalled TaskbarX not sure how, either thru Windows Settings or Microsoft Store.Since the uninstall, every startup, I get this prompt saying "You'll need a new app to open this taskbarx link"Now, I don't know how to get rid of this prompt. It's kinda annoying.I tried: installing back TaskbarX via MS Store, then uninstall it through the app itself. To no avail. I also tried: Microsoft Store app reset. MS Store apps troublesho

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

This app can't open

I suggest you to follow the below Methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: Run the SFC.

Follow the below steps:

• Open Command Prompt.

• Select “Run as Administrator”.
• Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.

Now check for the issue.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to try creating a new user account and check if the issue persists.
