Windows 10: "You''ll need the Internet for this"

Discus and support "You''ll need the Internet for this" in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I am constantly getting this error message that I am not connected to the internet when I try to login to my user account.     I am constantly getting this error message that I am not connected to the internet when I try to login to my user account. This started when linked in my Microsoft account to my existing user account from account manager. When I click "sign in", an error appears.The error message reads "It doesn't look like you're connected to the Internet. Check your connection and try again." I am now locked out of the account.Now I am logged in as a new user which I created through command prompt. I obviously have an internet connection, and accessing Microsoft related webpages through my browser works just
