Windows 10: your comp cpu cannot run w10

Discus and support your comp cpu cannot run w10 in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; i was running w7 ultimate 32 bit and installed w10 pro 32 bit it worked fine on my computer but it was a little buggy being the first week it was out....     i was running w7 ultimate 32 bit and installed w10 pro 32 bit it worked fine on my computer but it was a little buggy being the first week it was out. so i saw that i could roll it back to my orig os. i tried that and my computer never booted up again. it was activated both 7 ult and 10 pro. i was irate and took my comp to microsoft store to make them fix it. i got back w7 home prem 64 bit . now microsoft says my comp cant run w10 at all. is it because the idiots put 64 bit os on here?
    im not stupid but i think they are. anybody know if i will be able to install 10 later when the bugs are out. my desk top processor is AMD Athlon64 x2 4200+ 3g memory

    Mouse pointer disappears in Windows 10 Pro...

    I have this problem, as well. My comp is a MacBook Pro (2016), with W10 running as my primary OS. Physically closing and reopening the laptop screen (to force sleep), fixes the problem.

    Nokia Mserver keeps running in the background and sometimes eats up almost 80% of the CPU time... this causes serious issues when synching and multitasking other work... COmp hangs for alot.

    Your CPU is not compatible with 64-bit Windows 10 due to cmpxchg16B instruction missing in the Athlon64 X2 family, but it will run 32-bit Windows 10 - see here for coreinfo test:

    AMD ATHLON II install - Windows 10 Forums

    This means you cannot upgrade 64-bit windows 7 directly.

    You could download 32-bit windows 7, use the product key from the current 64-bit version, install it in a new partition that you create, then upgrade to 10 and delete the 64-bit partition.

    Additionally, the Win10 free Upgrade will install over the running version of Win7 w/SP1 or Win8.1, if 32-bit you'll get 32-bit, if 64-bit you'll get 64-bit. Someone at the store you took it to put the 64-bit version of Win7 on instead of your original 32-bit version which leads to the other response you got. In other words, that store led you into the problem.

    Go back to the MS store and make them put back what you had when you took it in, what was Ultimate 32 bit. You could then upgrade to 10 Pro 32 bit.

    They broke it, they should fix it.
