Windows 10: “Your credentials could not be verified” when entering PIN. Help!!

I restarted my computer and when i went to put in my pin i got the message “your credentials could not be verified”. I tried to click “I forgot my pin” but when it did I got “Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available status: Oxc000006d, substatus:Oxc0070070. Click to set up your PIN again.” and when I did that I get the message “The user profile service service failed the sign in. user profile cannot be loaded”. So I looked around and safe mode just wouldn’t work then i decided to reset my pc and keep all files. now when I hold shift and click the power button i only have the option

I didn’t use my laptop for about a month. Currently, when I try to start it and enter my PIN, the message appears saying “Your credentials could not be verified”. How to fix the issue?

Hi! could you please help.

My Surface is not recognizing my PIN, it show "Your credentials could not be verified"??? I logged in with the password, went to settings trying to verify the PIN, fingerprint and face recognition but is not working, every time the lock screen comes in
I have to use the password. Already try allowing the windows apps use, did not worked either. What can I do?

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you disable the third-party anti-virus software.

NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If
you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you are done. If you are connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to uninstall the third-party anti-virus software.

Step 2: Change the settings in Windows Credentials.

• Press Windows + X, click on Control Panel.
• Click on the Credential Manager icon.
• Select Windows Credentials at the top right in Credential Manager.
• Under the Generic Credentials section, look for the listed
  MicrosoftAccount:user= (Email address) credential for your Microsoft account.
• Expand open the MicrosoftAccount:user=(Email address)
  credential for your Microsoft account, and click/tap on Remove.
• Click on Yes to confirm.
• Sign out from the current user account, sign in and check with the status of this issue.
