I set Win Update to Discontinue to Receive Insider Builds and there is no gui setting to begin receiving them

  Go to all settings
  
• 
  Click on Update and security
  
• 
  Select Windows Updates
  
• 
  Click on Advanced option
  
• 
  Click on Get insider build

Getting out of the Insider Program

Hi,

Follow the Steps below and check.

• Open the Settings app, hit ‘Update & security’.
• Under Windows Update, hit ‘Advanced options’.
• Then, under ‘Get Insider builds’, press the ‘Stop Insider Builds’ button.

If you customize privacy settings during upgrade to 10240 - you will not be able to use Feedback App!

I found the solution myself

In short: stop insider builds, fix feedback setting and start getting insider builds again...

Here are the steps:

• Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advanced options > Stop Insider builds
• Settings > Privacy > Feedback & diagnostics > Diagnostics and usage data > Send your device data to Microsoft = change to "Full (Recommended)"
• Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Advanced options > Get Insider builds > Get started...

My setup is still activated after these steps. It was my biggest worry with this approach with all the activation changes done in preview build 10240.

Now you should be able to start Feedback App and share your pain and/or cheers!
