Windows 10: Your host does not meet minimum requirements to run VMware Workstation with Hyper-V or...

Running a virtual system in Vmware it was showing a error like this:





I was copy & pasted the error in google there is some solutions i was go throw it, but in the group policies the file Device Gurd missing



now i'm searched in google about DG missing, there some solutions tried few solutions no use it was not solved and some are i cont understanding.

can u please help it's been 4 days trying to solve on this issue, my brain heated a lot,please guys help me

HYPER-V with second level VM running on vmware workstation

Hi there

just thought I'd do a Bonkers experiment - works and isn't too slow (but use SSD !!!).

Host W10 X-64 PRO with HYPER-V

VM1 (ist level VM - 2nd level machine) Linux CENTOS 7 with latest kernel (4.7)

VM2 --installed VMware workstation on the Linux machine (VM1) --created XP VM --works fine !!!!

I know it's Bonkers but I was curious to see if the HYPERVISOR (HYPER-V) on the Host would propagate its properties to a second level machine (VM1) preventing VMWARE workstation from running.

Seems that the XP VM which is using VM1 as its Host doesn't know anything about HYPER-V nor does VM1.

VMware is not working in Windows 10 Home edition due to "Hyper-V role".

I use VMware Workstation Player 14 as a Virtual Machine runner. However, when I try to run a virtual machine, VMware tells me:

VMware Player and Hyper-V are not compatible. Remove the Hyper-V role

from the system before running VMware player.

I know that Windows 10 Home does not have Hyper-V but VMware says it does, and I have not been able to run a virtual machine since.

Can anyone help me?

To be honest I am not sure. It is for a class in college. To explain to the best of my ability; I was told to download and install VMware Workstation. We then installed CentOs to run on VMware Workstation. But when I try to turn on the CentOs VM on Workstation,
I get a notification that says, "VMware Workstation and Hyper-V are not compatible. Remove the Hyper-V role from the system before running VMware Workstation." then after I close that notification, I get another that states, "Transport (VMDB) error -14: Pipe
connection has been broken."
