Yeah, slow internet is not the friend of an XboxOne. I got a 1GB patch the other day for Call of Duty, Black Ops 3.

    Hi Brink,

Would you avoid putting 'today' in titles - 24 hrs later the title is wrong!! Two weeks later the title is rubbish. *Wink

I just watched an overview video on YouTube showing off the Forza edition of the Xbone, and I'm even more excited now than I was before ... looks killer to me ... still have to wait until Christmas though. (Won't be too much longer!)

Actually, rumor has it that is the goal. This is their only opportunity to get a midgrade PC in the living room as the source of all entertainment. I took a recent survey about xbox and one of the questions was something along the lines of, if you could play PC games on Xbox with enhanced graphics or something (not sure how they plan on doing that?) but if they do that, it really needs to work and work very well. PC gamers nowadays are very...stingy about performance so unless the games perform on par or some miracle happens where they are better on xbox, then they may have something. If they can't do it, then they are just simply playing with fire that they won't be able to put out. If they are just streaming, then that might work.

  11. Ah. But see, based on the reasons I have for actually getting an Xbox One, this argument doesn't mean much to me. I want to use it for the exclusives that PC doesn't have or won't get, and I sometimes like the experience of sitting on my couch in front of my TV as opposed to being in front of my computer. And I don't expect to be too disappointed by the graphics. I already know PC is "better." That's what I have a gaming PC for. Console is good enough for what you pay for, IMO.

  14. Got my Xbox One all set up, and it's running fine. Games look very nice. So far I've got Forza 6 (came with it), FIFA 16, and NHL 16. Also used a gift card to purchase a second controller with a charge kit (hopefully I can get some two-player action going with my nephew). Thinking of becoming a Gold member.
