Windows 10: your organization used windows defender application control to block this app

Folks,

Windows 10 64 1909


some of my users are start getting this message and not able to run some programs because it is blocking executable to run from defender. It is start happening since last friday 1/31/2020.




i have disabled Defender from Local GP, disable everything i could find still no luck.

these computers are corporate Azure Joined computer and has Bitlocker enable. so can't disable secure boot.


any of you guys run into this issue? suggestion thanks

You can try to disable the Secure boot option in your BIOS.

This subject <above> is my current nightmare... tried to do a clean install but ran into many problems... so I purchased upgraded license to Win 10 Pro - however now I cannot install any apps. period... All I get is this.. Your Organization used Windows
Defender Application Control to block this app - however I don't have an organization... Please reply with a fix?

- I have turned off all Windows Defender and Firewall

- I have changed all App & Browser Controls to off

- I have entered the generic Win 10 product code

Please help!!!

• What build and version of Windows 10 are you currently using?
• What method did you use to re-install Windows 10?
• Are you also having this issue when installing/running Microsoft applications or apps downloaded from the Windows Store?
