    Your Phone App used to be an enabled feature in Start up I want it to start as soon as I start my PC. Again This used to be an available start up option.

    What I have done so far, It is missing in Task Manager as a Start up app when it was there before. It is Missing in settings>app>start up, when it was there before. I have run scannow, I have run chkdsk, DISM Restore heath, I have terminated and repaired Your Phone App, I have run Powershell re-register windows apps making sure that Your Phone was closed in Processes, the Only one it missed was xbox gaming services. I have restarted windows explorer.

    I have attempted to copy-paste the .exe into a start up folder in program files which was empty btw however in doing so I got an error that the .dll could not be found even though it was in the hidden windows apps folder. I have tried to elevate up to move the .dll however even being an admin It does not give me permission. EVEN when I open security tab for win app folder and type administrator in security properties.


    How do I get this app back to Start up menu so it starts as soon as I run my machine? the Differential restore I did today did not help, the only other back up I have is from 3/9 where I think it was working then. I think a windows update killed this feature. If anyone could help me research this further it would be great.

    TechPowerUp App with Windows 8.1 Phone?

    I think after this current class I am in and then the next I should have what I need to be able to make a TPU Windows Phone app. I want to make some sort of app as an outside project to put on my resume and TPU app is what I really want to do. @W1zzard if no one has started developing one by the time I think I am ready too. (Next summer) ill PM you.
