Windows 10: Your Phone Companion app stopped working one day and now won't link at all

The Your Phone app was working fine between my Windows 10 PC and my Galaxy S10 phone, but then one day it just stopped so I disconnected the link thinking that I could reconnect it. I haven't had any luck with that. I have the phone linked to a Windows 10 laptop already with no problems. When I attempt to add my desktop to the phone app, it says to go to www.aka.ms/addcomputer. After I do that, the Phone app opens and gives me a QR Code. The phone app says that if I see a QR code, I need to close it and "Follow the instructions to create a PIN code for paring your devices"... so I close t

Your Phone Companion is working but often weird

Just more and more "historical" messages. Now, messages I write on the input panel on the right appear in the list on the left but the message I wrote doesn't appear on the right side panel, just more historical messages.

At least the thing seems to work. Sort of two steps forward and three to the left and back.

I wish someone who was a real coder would write a decent app like this, one that was, uh, tested and didn't have an idiotic name like "Your Phone Companion". SIGH.

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Phone companion app and check if you are facing the issue

To uninstall the phone companion app please follow the steps below:

• 
  Type phone companion in the
  search box.
  
• 
  Right click on
  phone companion and click on uninstall.
  

Once it is uninstalled, you can reinstall it from windows store.

Phone Companion App not starting...
