Windows 10: Your Phone keeps crashing

"Your phone" app crashes immediately after starting. This has happened ever since I reset my android back to android 8 cleared data.

I made sure phone+computer on same network, phone is paired via bluetooth to computer not really relevant but I tried it


I have tried Terminate+Reset+Repair, and then I see "Make <my phone> default or keep existing phone button" for about 5 seconds while its unresponsive, and then it crashes again.


I tried https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3175-reinstall-re-register-apps-windows-10-a.html for "current account only". It seemed to succeed in that operation some apps couldnt reregister because they were open but not this one afaik.



After reset+repair, in windows event Application log I see:

When the app immediately crashes I don't see anything new in the application log maybe it is suppressing duplicate errors. The latest error has to do with the same module PhoneCommunicationAppService.dll.


No one else seems to have this issue.

Supported phones for Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview

When my phone fails to upgrade I just keep trying. One upgrade took 3 or 4 tries.

I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

Windows 10 keeps crashing
