Windows 10: Your Phone Text Not Working

I used and paired my android phone Motorola with the My Phone app on my windows device HP for about a day. I later disconnected the My Phone app as it was not useful for me. However, when I went to send a text message on my phone, I was met with the following error: "Message not sent. Phone number formatted incorrectly." I have tried restarting my phone, clearing cache and data from the messaging app, and even reconnecting to the My Phone app to see if I can message from my laptop but still no change. For about two days now I have not been able to respond to any messages, but have been abl

How to send an email that a phone receives as a text?

At my office, we want to have the ability to communicate with our electricians who are fairly low tech people. They don't check emails often, but text messaging would work fine for our need. I know with Verizon and Sprint you can using the text messaging app on the phone to text an email, and then if you reply to say L: 9995724770@VTEXT.COM that email will go to the phone as a text message.

Short of having all the electricians text an email to get these addresses, is there an easier way to go about this? I've never really dealt with mass texting before. Is say a Droid phone capable of sending a text to 40 people?

Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.
