Windows 10: Your Phone won't stop sending notifications I do not want

Discus and support Your Phone won't stop sending notifications I do not want in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Brand new laptop. Had never heard of Your Phone so I tried it.     Your Phone won't stop sending notifications I do not want


    Brand new laptop. Had never heard of Your Phone so I tried it. Found out it wouldn't let me stop taking calls on the laptop and wouldn't let me move photos from my phone to the laptop. Other issues with text message displays, too. I went through the so called Help stuff online, looked up things to do elsewhere, and decided I didn't want it. Then I found out it cannot be uninstalled or even turned off.

    So I deleted the Your Phone app from my cell phone and told my cell to "forget" my laptop as a device. I also reset the notifications status on the laptop to stop sending them.

    And yet I keep getting notifications on my laptop and then on my phone that my laptop wants permission to connect to my phone

    This is entirely unacceptable, incredibly unprofessional, and enough to make me switch to Apple. My wife already uses Apple and I have before so it's not a big deal.

    How do I shut down Your Phone?

    Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

    Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
