Hello Данила . I'm Greg, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, here to help you

    1) Try these fixes for persistent Pin is not available error:

    2) Reset PIN: Here's here how to reset the PIN in Windows 10 when it will not work from Settings > Accounts > Sign In Options:

Open Windows File Explorer using the file folder icon on your task bar.

Tick the box in File Explorer View tab to Show Hidden Files.

    Browse to C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Ngc

Delete or rename to Ngc.old this folder to reset the PIN.

**You may need to first take ownership of the folder: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/3841-add-ta...

Once you delete or rename the folder it will recreate it so you can add a PIN normally in Windows Settings > Accounts > Sign-In Options. You may need to restart the PC first.

For any unexpected problems see tutorials covering all possible problems here:

    https://www.askvg.com/fix-unable-to-add-and-use...

    3) If none of those fix Go over Windows using this checklist to make sure the install is set up correctly, optimized for best performance, and any needed repairs get done: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wiki...

Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account to replace yours which may be corrupted. Then if necessary continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly.

    4) Update your drivers and BIOS/UEFI firmware from the PC or motherboard maker's Support Downloads web page, using the full model number, Serial Number or Dell Service Tag on sticker. Compare the latest drivers available for download with the ones presently installed in Device Manager reached by right clicking the Start button. Make sure you have the latest BIOS or UEFI firmware, Chipset, Display (Video), Sound, USB3, Bluetooth, Network and all other drivers, or else download and install the latest now.

Updating drivers from the Device Manager or Windows Update is rarely enough. The most basic thing we need to learn to maintain a PC is keep the latest manufacturer's drivers installed from their Support Downloads web page. Everything else depends on this.

    5) If nothing else works then do a Repair Install, by installing Media Creation Tool, open tool and choose to Upgrade Now. This reinstalls Windows while keeping files, programs and most settings in place, is the most stable method to advance to the latest version, and solves most problems. Based on the results you post back I may have other suggestions if necessary.

  3. Received error code 0x80280013 when I try to login with my pin

When I try to login with my pin, I receive error code 0x80280013 something went wrong and your pin isn't available. When I tried to change my pin it says we weren't able to setup your PIN. You can try again, or skip this step and set up a PIN later. When I click skip for now, it sends my back to the lock screen. I'm not given any other option to sign in other than using my PIN, No option to use my password. Can't login to my Laptop at all.

  4. Your PIN is not available. 0x80280013

Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available (code: 0x80280013). Click to set up your PIN again.

    Hi.

My laptop has been giving me an error when I try to login: "Something went wrong and your PIN isn't available (code: 0x80280013). Click to set up your PIN again."

The only workaround I've found for this is to restart my laptop, and this seems to fairly reliably solve the issue (temporarily). However, the next time I go to login I get the same error.

Would somebody be able to help me with this, please?

OS Name: Microsoft Windows 11 Home

    Version: 10.0.22000 Build 22000

    OS Build: 22000.856

    Thanks,

    Kas
