Windows 10: Your security settings do not allow this application to be installed

I have a new PC. I have a new version of windows 10. I have a MS subscription. However my attempts to install MS Office fail. It appears to be something to do with security settings but I have no idea how to fix this. If I can't install Office there is little point in paying for a subscription. I do not have any paid security software so whatever it is must be built in. Any idea?

application access set to not allowed

You can set this by highlighting each application in the list, clicking on Options>Application Access>Communication>Network Access. You have the choice of "Ask every time", "Ask first time only" or "Not allowed".

It's good to have some protection here because if you go abroad and start an application unintentionally it costs a fortune. Actually in my phone "Always allow" is greyed out.

 

Not able to install exe file created in WINDEV application

Since you mentioned that the application worked in a previous version of Windows, we would like to clarify if you attempted to install the application using compatibility mode as was suggested in the previous post? The reason we need to verify if you have
completed the steps provided is because compatibility mode allows older programs to work in a more recent version of Windows. Also we need the answers to the following questions below:

• Were there any newer versions of the application you're attempting to install that is made for windows 10?
• Which version and build of Windows 10 do you have installed in the computer?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
