Windows 10: Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified

Hi All,Please help me, I having this issue at my workplace "Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified " when send and receive email. It only happen only at Windows XP it mean others OS had no problem. There is any way to solve this?? because PC specification is not suitable for upgrade to windows 7.

Hi

I have been using the same Outlook and GMail accounts for years and about a week ago I get an error message when I try to download my email. I haven`t changed any settings at all.

ERROR: 0x800CCC1A Your server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified.

Software:
Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 (12.0.6785.5000) SP3 MSO (12.0.6785.5000)
Windows 10 Pro Version 1903 OS Build 18362.418

Email Settings:










Any help will be much appreciated.

Changed settings as per "Try3" and received this message:





Then tried IMAP settings and received this message:

 

Outlook cannot connect to GMail server does not support the connection encryption type

Is there a reason you are using POP3 rather than IMAP?

I know Google were upping the security on mail apps that can connect to it's servers, you may need to allow less secure apps - Sign in - Google Accounts
