YourFamily_000000000000000000023000085c134e5@groups. outlook. com In contacts app for windows 10 and it wont go away.I tried deleting it and it just keeps coming back. I saw a similar post here: "Your family Group" has appeared in Outlook.com and I - Microsoft Community but in my case it is on contacts for windows 10. Is there a fix for this yet?

Group Email In Outlook 2016? Need Help!

Hi guys,

I have a client with a problem in outlook 2016 with her not been able to do a group email. She said she could just click on the group button on version 2007 outlook and then (I guess) select the group of people you wish to send a email to. But in this new version she cant as the group button or selection is greyed out. I honestly have no clue as I don't use the program but was wondering if anyone on here has any idea?

I have uploaded a pic of a screen shot of her outlook 2016 with the greyed out group option.

If anyone has any clue or suggestions to give me to give to her that would be great *Smile

The screen shot looks like that's where she would CREATE a new group. What is on the "Send/Receive" tab?

Outlook (group) contact vs. iOS contact/mail

Outlook 365/current version iOS/Win10.0.19...

Intent: Send a group email from the iPhone using iOS native email client.

What I've done:
1. Created 'Test' group in desktop OL contacts containing 3 contacts/emails
2. Open contacts on the phone
3. Click Groups (default the following are all checked: All Exchange, Contacts, Search results - Exchange Global Address List is unchecked, checking not good result - left unchecked)
4. Click Done
5. Type 'Test' in search box
6. Test does not appear in either the 'Top Name Matches' or 'Other Results'

I give up.

Use Groups in Outlook mobile app; Outlook Groups app is retiring

Last April, we introduced native support for Office 365 Groups in the Outlook mobile app. We’ve been improving the group experiences in the Outlook mobile app ever since, and today we’re pleased to share some new ways to get more done with Office 365 Groups right from Outlook.

In the next few months, we’ll be bringing you the ability to access all files that are stored in groups’ document libraries inside the Outlook mobile app.

We’ll also be bringing roaming favorites so you can pin groups, folders, and more to your navigation pane for easier access across Outlook in all your devices.

These enhancements complement the work we’ve been doing over the past nine months inside the Outlook mobile app, including group creation and editing, which shipped late last year, as well as the ability you see your groups’ recent files, which we introduced earlier this year. This work is a part of our continuing efforts to advance Microsoft 365 as the universal toolkit for teamwork and complements similar investments that we’re making in Teams and Yammer.

By embedding groups functionality into the Outlook mobile app, we’re investing in group experiences to make teamwork effortless, while removing the need to install and use a separate app. Office 365 customers who are using the standalone Outlook Groups app should make plans to transition away in the next few months. In mid-March 2018, the app will be removed from the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Microsoft Store. Then, the app will stop working on May 1, 2018. Between mid-March and May 1, users that have the app may continue using it, but after May 1, the app will not function.

For more details about the retirement of the app, please refer to this article. If you are an admin and received a notice today in the Office 365 Message Center, it means one or more people in your organization are using the Outlook Groups app. If you didn’t receive a notice in Message Center, you don’t need to take any action.
