Windows 10: Youtube and game audio levels changing when tabbing between programs

I've noticed that both games and browsers Opera GX and Microsoft Edge are the ones I've tested will have their sound changed drastically if I'm tabbed away from that program. It makes game audio basically muted if I tab away, but also makes any youtube video way louder if I tab into a game.I've looked around for some solutions, but any questions and answers I found seemed to be for more generic issues.

Audio levels changing

I couldn't do the first suggestion, because I don't have the enhancements tab in the speaker properties.

But the second one seems to be working!

I've been testing for awhile with all of the programs that I use and the sound levels have not changed at all.

Windows 10 - Bluetooth Headset audio only works from Youtube - Lose audio when changing tabs or another application

I am certain this has to be some annoying settings stuck on.

My bluetooth headset works fine when initially connected - I can turn on youtube and listen, as long as I keep the tab in focus - when I change tabs the audio stops - when I change to another application the audio stops - I need to rotate the Audio Outputs to get audio back in the bluetooth.

Weirdly I can have Chrome/Edge play youtube - minimize and be fine hearing audio. Its when I need to change the source, its like Youtube is exclusively playing to headset.

1. Restarted
   
2. Disconnected and readded the bluetooth headset
   
3. Only happening on my 1 PC not the other, same headset, so I know its a PC/device setting.
   
4. removed Exclusive mode - no change
   
5. Other audio source dont exhibit this "exclusive output" issue
   

Does anyone know of a Windows 10 setting that could restrict this ?

 

Audio volume cannot be changed while Youtube Video is playing.

Bug Reproduction Steps:

• Use Bing to search any video
• IE10 goes to the Youtube
• Play Youtube Video
• Even the audio volume is up to the max or down to zero, you still can't feel volume changed.
• If I long press "<-" hardware back button to go to App Switch Screen, and change the volume at App Switch Screen. Thus, the volume of the Youtube Video will be changed.
