Windows 10: YouTube home page is always visible on my desktop and other webpages with white background

Hello Community,I have this weird problem after the latest windows 11 update. I can see YouTube's home page slightly visible on Desktop and all the web pages. It is more visible if the website is on light mode. I can see YouTube icon and video search section. It is more visible especially when I am working on websites that are on light mode. It is really annoying that this YouTube is following me everywhere I go. My laptop is Dell XPS i7-9750H with 4K resolution. Nvidia GTX 1650 card.Any help to resolve this weird issue should be highly appreciated.Thank you

problem on a few menus - white text on white background

G'day all.

I have two instances of having white text on white backgrounds. I use start10 by Stardock, and on its menus, items currently highlighted are showing white text on a white background. Other (non-highlighted) items display correctly.

I also noticed this same thing when Cortana displays something like my shopping list. If i ask her to display my shopping list, she does, and i can see the checkboxes, but the actual text of the list is not visible.

I sense this has something to do with system level font/color settings, but I can't find where this is controlled in Win10.

 

Solid White as a Background

As I can see, no white background appears in the list of Solid colors.

You may google White picture, save it to the desktop and set it as desktop background.

Hello Mike,

If I understand it right; to change the background color of your toolbar from black to white, follow these steps:

1. Right-click on your desktop and select Personalize.
   
2. In the left-hand menu, select Colors.
   
3. Scroll down until you see Choose your color and select it.
   
4. Choose the color white, or a lighter shade of your preferred color.
   
5. Your toolbar should now have a white background.
   

If you are still having trouble, please let me know what type of toolbar you are using and on what device or operating system.
