    Youtube lagging and freezing up my whole computer


    To start this off, I am aware that YouTube is owned by Google and not Microsoft, but I thought it'd be worth a shot to ask here. I have an HP Desktop that I bought from Best Buy a few years ago, but it has been upgraded. I put 32GB of RAM and a new SSD into it throughout its lifespan, and it has been great to me. It's able to support a wireless controller and keyboard for gaming, as well as having a standard wired corsair keyboard and mouse. All in all, the performance is unmatched, able to handle games like GTAV and Battlefront II on medium/high settings no problem. Now that's not me trying t

    Load this checklist video in Edge: (I'm assuming you did at least a few of these steps, since you stated you tried other suggestions earlier) Go through the list of suggestions here to try to repair YouTube for Chrome...

    Can't get Youtube to show videos in Chrome

    I haven't gotteen to this suggestion yet - but, I've shut down half my Extensions and, now, I get the voice of the Youtube videos - but still not the video. Thought this clue might help.
