Windows 10: Youtube Playback Speed not working

Hi,I noticed few days ago that Youtube playback speed on my Windows 11 isn't working. The video still plays on a normal speed whenever I chose my desired speed. Does anyone also encounters this issue?Thanks,Chris

Resetting speed of audio and video playback

Am experiencing difficulty in setting the speed of audio and video playback on my Windows 10 desktop. Right now voices sound as though the speaker had just inhaled helium and videos also play at accelerated speed.

Among the things I've tried to fix this:

- Resetting Windows Media Player to default settings -- didn't work

- Lowering the speed on Youtube from 1x to 0.75 x -- didn't work

- Downloading different browsers -- didn't work

What's left? Download free media player software? Any suggestions?

• Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
• Click OK.

• Are you getting any error messages when playing these videos?
• Were there any recent changes made prior to this issue?
• Does the issue with video playback only happen on YouTube?
