Windows 10: Youtube tabs preceded by number 17

Here's an odd one: Running Chrome browser at Youtube site every tab name is preceded by the number 17 (See attached).


Tried clearing cache, reboot etc. I've no idea where this is coming from or where to go to fix it.
Ant ideas?

Here we go again !!!!!!!!!!!! in game and get a lockup and crash within a few seconds of each other.

So dcom crashes anything that prevents it from running or system resources allocated by the "user"

Please ignore the above - it's Notifications. Must a newish feature as I haven't seen it before.

Yup, they changed the way Notifications work: Google Groups

 

this is so stupid. How can i ignore it when it's so annoying and worse than the way it used to be. I don't need a number on every single one of my tabs showing me that i have that many notifications. It takes up way too much space and i can't even see what the tabs say anymore because all i see are numbers.

Google keeps making their notifications system worse and worse. First they make the notifications system extremely annoying to reply to people and mute threads, and now this garbage that doesn't help me in any way because i can see how many notifications i have just by looking at the damn bell that's always annoying lighting up already. Stupid google...I can't believe they pay people to make their site worse.
