    How to change monitor aspect ratio without centering screen

    Hi Ashakil,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your concern, make sure you are logged in as admin. After that please follow the steps below and check the aspect ratio.


    • Right click on Desktop.

    • Click on Personalize.

    • Advanced display settings,

    • Display Adapter properties

    • Monitor>scaling>Change Aspect Ratio.

    Have you tried googling "video format for youtube"?



    • >Mp4 video format
    • > Quicktime’s h.264 codec
    • > Bitrate of 256 kbps for audio(mp3)
    • > Bitrate of 4000 kbps for video
    • > Resolution of 640X480 for 4:3 aspect ratio
    • > Resolution of 1280X720 for 16:9 aspect ratio
    • > Max file size 1GB


    (There may be 10 min. max runtime).
