Windows 10: Zip VS AppData\Local

This is truly abstract, but I have to tell you that I'm suffering from it. Anyone please solve it. I'm trying my best to explain you...There is a type of ZIP which I call "App in Zip", where inside is a group of DLL and a major EXE The app, and also a resourse folder that leads to resourse files More DLLs, Textures, Musics, and Personal files. For some reason, Windows decide to add a file in C:\User\<user>\AppData\Local that have the exact same resourses to the resourse folder in the ZIP file. Therefore when I want to add a new Personal file, I mess up that the app would receive whic

Is there any way to uninstall 7zip and restore default zip I used to have originally (Windows 10)?

Your advice would be much appreciated!

.zip can't be set to File Explorer

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• 
  Type Default programs
  in the search bar and press enter
  
• 
  Click on choose default programs by file type
  
• 
  Select .zip
  and select File Explorer
